Tap Tap Tappin’ to Manhattan

Millie

Bring your tap shoes and tap back to Manhattan at the height of the Jazz Age as the curtain goes up Friday, February 23rd on the Performing Arts Department’s newest production, Thoroughly Modern Millie.  Set in New York City in 1922, “Millie” is the story of a young girl from Kansas who comes to New York in search of a new life for herself.  Her grand scheme is to find a job as a secretary for a wealthy man and then marry him, a plan that goes completely awry.

The production runs through Sunday, February 25th at the James A. Little Theater.  Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.  Advance tickets are on sale now at Prep’s front office.  Prices are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors, and seating is open.
