Alumni Giving

Your support strengthens the value of a Prep education, and your donation serves as a vote of confidence in the work we’re doing here. High levels of alumni participation inspires major donors, corporations and foundations to increase their own support—please do not underestimate the power of your donation—collectively, small and large, alumni donations make a difference.

Here are some ways in which our alumni can help support Prep:

Annual Fund

Gifts to Prep’s Annual Fund go directly into the operating budget for the benefit of our ambitious students and enthusiastic faculty. These funds allow Prep to seize new opportunities, respond to unexpected challenges, and support a robust Tuition Assistance program. Currently, 37% of our students receive Tuition Assistance and the average grant is $12,728—nearly twice the national average.

You may call or email Becky Anderson, Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving 505.695.7824 to make a pledge or charge a gift to your credit card. You can also send a check or money order payable to Santa Fe Preparatory School. Want to make your donation right away? Click here to make an online donation today!

Alumni Events & Reunions

Santa Fe Prep’s calendar of events offers many opportunities for our alumni to have fun, socialize, and support the school at the same time. Our class reunion weekends offer alumni many fun-filled opportunities to catch up with classmates, check out the amazing changes on campus, and reconnect with friends, faculty and staff. Visit our Events & Reunions page for more details.

The Santa Fe Prep Endowment Fund: Planning for a Bright Future

Endowment funds work like a savings account. They generate income, some of which is reinvested. Over time the endowment grows and provides ongoing support for the school’s operations. Gifts to the Prep endowment contribute to the long-term financial well-being of the school. Please contact Pamela Emsden, Director of Advancement, for more details.

Planned Giving and The Caritas Society

A planned gift, sometimes called a deferred gift, is one that will not be realized until some future date. It may be a bequest, a life insurance policy, a charitable gift annuity or charitable trust, or a gift of retirement plan assets. A planned gift can help build Prep’s endowment, provide for loved ones and create tax benefits for you or your heirs. Please contact Pamela Emsden, Director of Advancement, for more details.
