Coach Lisa Lincoln accompanied Prep’s Speech & Debate Team at Nationals, the biggest academic competition in the country, this last week.
Rising Junior Conor Sullivan made semi-finals in “Congress” and was one student away from breaking into finals. Each of twelve chambers started with 22 students which was ultimately whittled down to 6 students from each chamber for semi-finals. Three chambers remained in semifinals and seven students were chosen from each of those chambers for finals. Conor did an amazing job among some huge powerhouse student speakers from all over the country.
Rising Senior Anya Markowitz was one of 250 students competing in “Dramatic Interpretation” where she qualified in the top 90 with her rankings.
It was an incredible week for both Conor and Anya. They represented SF Prep and New Mexico well. Congratulations guys!
