Prep Graduate Seth Montgomery ’12 Named Co-Captain Of Williams Swim Team
A few words from our graduate swim star:
“Being a part of the swim team at Prep prepared me very well for college athletics. I owe a lot to Coach David Caldwell for developing my skills as a swimmer, a leader, and a person. One of my favorite races I have ever been a part of is still the 200 Medley Relay with Griffin Daly ’12, Liam Daly ’14, and Jack Lobe ’15, where we broke the school record. While switching from having less than ten teammates on the Prep team to having more than thirty at Williams was a big transition, I have been able to remember and apply a lot of what I learned at Prep. I have loved attending Williams and swimming for the Ephs—being on the team has been one of the best parts of my experience here. We recently got third place at NCAA’s, our highest finish since 1983. I am excited to serve as co-captain of the 2015-16 team and see what we will be able to accomplish. I also can’t wait to come back to Prep for my sister’s graduation with the Class of 2015 and for the future of Prep swimming— watch out for Riley Kinlaw ’18!”
