Prep Welcomes New Faculty Members

There will be two new faces among the faculty as the 2010-2011 school year gets underway: Eliot Fisher and Drew Nucci.  Fisher joins the Fine Arts Department and will teach classes in digital photography, digital video and yearbook.  He holds a bachelor of arts degree in film studies from Wesleyan University and earned a second bachelors degree in documentary studies from the College of Santa Fe.  Prior to joining the faculty at Prep, Fisher was involved with the Youth Media Project for AmeriCorps and wrote and directed several short and documentary films. He also enjoys music and has composed scores for several short films.

Nucci joins the Math Department at Prep and will teach pre-algebra and algebra 1.  He previously taught at the Academy for Technology and the Classics, New Mexico Academy of Sciences and Mathematics and the Waynflete School.  Nucci holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration and accounting from the University of New Hampshire, and is close to completing his masters in liberal arts at St. John’s College.  Outside of teaching, he enjoys international travel, cycling, camping, art and astronomy.
