Model United Nations 2016

Twenty students attended the 55th annual New Mexico Model United Nations Session on November 16-18 at the Round House. This year, Santa Fe Prep represented the countries of Japan, Cameroon, and Honduras. Prep competed against high schools from around the state, and our students did an outstanding job! They worked on resolutions to solve real world problems, such as the immigration crisis in Europe, human trafficking, conflicts in the South China Sea, and alternative energy.

A Press committee put together reports and interviews for this year’s session that can be found at the following link: issuu.com/NMMUNPC

Congratulations to three Prep students who took home awards this year:

Justice Colfax ‘18, Best Delegate of General Assembly, Judges Choice; Giacomo Coppola ‘18 and Sarbjot Jessop ‘18, Best Delegation, Peer Choice on Legal Committee.

And congratulations to all of our delegates for a job well done!
