Middle School Parent Evening Set for October 19th

“Who was I yesterday?  Who am I today?” will be the focus of a lively discussion about child development during the middle school years this Tuesday, October 19th, at 6:30 pm in the auditorium.  A panel of Santa Fe Prep experts—including Dr. Don Fineberg, Mikahla Beutler, Erika Penczer, a middle school teacher, an upper school parent, and an upper school peer mentor—will be on hand to talk about the social, emotional, physical and developmental changes that happen during the middle school years, and explain why it’s so amazing that early adolescents are able to focus on academics at all!  The conversation will reflect the interests of the parents who attend, and there will be ample opportunity for questions.  The evening is adults only, and open to all 7th and 8th grade parents.
