Middle School Art Students Create, Donate Recycled Playhouse

Middle School art students received a certificate of merit for the most innovative entry in last weekend’s Recycle Santa Fe Show.  Working entirely with recycled materials, the students made a life-size playhouse that proved extremely popular with young children at the show.  The playhouse will be donated to a local preschool now that the show is over.

Local architect and parent Morten Olrick, and parent and business owner Kari Rives, donated materials and helped the students learn about effective design and construction.
