Bradford Fairbanks
bfairbanks@sfprep.orgPerforming Arts Department Chair, Acting, Advanced Drama, Musical Theater, Fall Play and Musical Director. Brad holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Boston College and a master’s degree in education from City College of New York. He also graduated from The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre, a two-year acting conservatory in New York City. Brad has also worked as a college counselor at Northeastern University, an actor in New York, and has been teaching since 2000.

Cheney Doane

Cheney graduated magna cum laude from Whitman College with a degree in Piano Performance and later completed his master’s work at the University of Utah. While in Utah, Cheney worked as the pianist for the University’s choirs and also served as assistant music director for the Musical Theater Program. Cheney has played in summer programs in Italy and Germany and performed dozens of solo and collaborative recitals stateside. Most recently, Cheney was the co-chair of the Fine Arts department at Norfolk Academy in Norfolk, Virginia, where he directed the choirs and orchestras in the upper and middle schools while also serving as music director for the winter musicals. When he’s not at the piano, you can find Cheney throwing a frisbee, playing chess, dreaming about Vienna, or playing basketball.
