Santa Fe Prep Girls Cross Country won its third straight 3A title Saturday! Their top four runners placed in the top eight. Sophia Bair ’25 finished first, and Pippa Barrett came in second. This team is full of heart, determination, talent, drive, and effort. Congratulations to the runners and the coaches for this incredible accomplishment.
Coach Lis Desmond sums up the ethos of the Cross Country program at Prep saying, “And you make sure you involved all of your team. From the person who is out there just to learn it to the people who have been doing it for six years. We’re all included in that one big picture of having fun and running at the same time.”
