Bard College President, Dr. Leon Botstein, will be at Prep on Thursday, February 26th at 1:30 pm for a lively, engaging and possibly provocative discussion on the relevancy of a liberal education in today’s economy and evolving trends in how colleges provide access to students from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds.  Dr. Botstein has been the president of Bard for over 35 years and is considered one of the pre-eminent and most engaging college presidents in the country.  The event is free and open to all members of the Prep community.

The sets are nearing completion, tech cues are set, and a little polish is all that’s needed on production numbers as opening night approaches for the Performing Arts Department’s production of Little Shop of Horrors.  The opening performance is Friday, February 27th at 7:30 pm, with additional performances on Saturday, February 28th at 7:30 pm and Sunday, March 1st at 2 pm.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors.  Tickets will be sold in advance from Monday, February 23rd through Friday, February 27th from 2:30 - 3:30 pm just outside the Main School building.  Unsold tickets will be available at the door beginning 45 minutes prior to each performance.
