What is the Annual Campaign? ... And the graph?

Through our Annual Campaign, we raise the money necessary to bridge the gap between what tuition covers and the cost of running an exceptional non-profit school.  Our campaign is a critical piece to ensuring Santa Fe Prep continues to provide a level of secondary education unprecedented in northern New Mexico--a level of education which ensures a world of possibilities and a bright future are opened for each child.  Our Annual Campaign directly benefits each student, every day.  The graph is a symbol of what our School community gains from the Annual Campaign, showing life at Prep fill with color the closer we get to our $600,000 goal.

This year, it will cost $19,055 to educate every student at Santa Fe Prep.  With an annual tuition of $17,555, at least $1,500 per student must be raised to meet current year expenses beyond tuition.  So, in a sense, every student at Prep is on a scholarship--a scholarship that is supported by income from our modest endowment, foundation grants, and, most importantly, generous gifts to the Annual Campaign that come from parents, alumni, grandparents, former parents and friends of the School.

Parents who preceded us stepped up to make donations that helped build our beautiful campus, develop our award-winning programs, and create Prep’s excellent reputation--all while remaining debt-free showing a true commitment to fiscal responsibility.  Today, donations from the Annual Campaign ensure an education for our students that instills critical and global thinking and a lifelong passion for discovery.  Donations also ensure that our students are inspired by some of the finest teachers in the country.  Finally, our donations help ensure our children have access to the world’s finest colleges and universities upon graduation.
